Day 1 - Monday 12/13/10

I arrived at the Biggest Loser Resort at Fitness Ridge on Sunday, December 12, 2010 all set for a new adventure. 


Here is a summary of the first day:
6:00 Stretch
7:00 Breakfast
8:00 Hike (Barrel Roll)
11:15 Total Body H2O
12:25 Lunch
1:15 Lecture:  Budget
2:15 Intro to Circuit
2:30 H2O Intervals
3:30 Circuit Training
4:30 Core Training
5:30 Dinner
6:15 Lecture:  Spending your Calories Wisely I

Here is our menu for the day:


Calories Burned:  4365  (the # will never include any water classes)
Calories Consumed:  1328
Steps:  21,453

I was exhausted after the first day...it was eye opening, challenging and overwhelming!  The scenery around here is gorgeous and quite different from my neck of the woods.  Most of the time hiking is spent looking at the ground for the next few steps as the terrain can be rocky!

As it has been a number of years since I have swam in a pool, my brain remembers swimming lap after lap on swim team for several years...but my body says, "What in the heck are you doing?"  Frustrating, but yet another reality check on why I need to be here!
